Dr. Fatehia Saleh
Psychiatrist
Dr. Saleh is a consultant psychiatrist working at both Ipax and Shield Clinics. She has been accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta since 2014, and by the the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada since 2001. She previously served as the staff psychiatrist and Anna-Laberge Hospital in Quebec City from 2001 to 2013.
Dr. Saleh studied genetics during her Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Alberta (1993) before earning her Doctor of Medicine, also at the University of Alberta (1995). From there, she completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at McGill University in Montreal (2001).
Dr. Saleh is happy to be currently practice so close to where she grew up on Edmonton’s North side. She loves hiking and used to dream of hiking the entire Trans-Canada Trail. She has an abiding interest in medieval English history from Edward IV to Henry VIII. Dr. Saleh has a large book collection ("far too many," in her words), and she loves a good road trip ("any reason is a good reason, as far as I'm concerned!").
